over the years i've written a little bit about our
traditions at Christmas.........
over in my other happy space, in december 2009,
I wrote about some of the things that we get up to
during our family Christmas time......
the traditions don't change a lot over the years.......
we pretty much still do a lot of the same things.......
and they make us happy......
on the night of november 30th, I stay up after the
children have gone to bed and decorate the house
with all the Christmas decs so that when they come
down on the morning of december 1st the house
has had a bit of a transformation......
{and I do all this whilst listening to great Christmas
music by Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams
and a whole host of others.......}
I don't do the tree..... that's something we all
do together...... I just put the other decs up
and, of course, the advent calendar and Jesse tree
ready for hanging up the first characters and symbols......
this year I added a little bonus for miss evie......
a book I knew she would enjoy.......
this book opens up and each side offers a lovely
chance to do some colouring......
on december 1st she found a little elf sorting
some parcels into a sack.......
the whole 'book' folds out to give you a whole Christmas
scene which you can colour in each day with the added
bonus of a little colouring opportunity behind each window.....
just lovely......
