this past month has been quite a busy one......
lots of stuff has been happening here in happiliciousland and
big decisions have had to be mulled over and decided upon.....
this has meant that there has not been much time for crafting
and making....... or blogging...... ah well, c'est la vie.....
I am eager to get back to my happy little place of
evading real life issues.....
there have been some bursts of creativity throughout the month though.....
dottie came for a day and we played at purse making.....
that was fun.....
and we did some amazing balancing acts on chairs and stepladders
and balustrade handrails so that we could pick grapes from our vine
in the back garden that was abundant with beautiful dark red grapes
and then we snaffled all the apples from the {tiny little} apple tree
and evie was then able to set about making grape and apple jelly......
delicious......
and the colour is just divine.....
I have since been beavering away making a whole clutch of purses
which are destined to go off to have adventures in other peoples'
pockets and bags and will have great stories to tell in future days I am sure......
look at them..... all ready, looking for a new adventure.....
eager beavers they are......
evie also decided that she wanted to have a go at crocheting a beaded bracelet.....
she used the tutorial found here as her inspiration, but as evie is wont
to do, she ended up making it up as she went along in the end....
the resulting bracelet was so pretty and I think you will find that if you
can chain and single crochet you too would be able to make a beaded
bracelet.... have a look at the link if you don't believe me.....
and now that I've started again, I really must keep the beavering going a-pace.....
dottie and I have signed up for a table at the handmade Christmas fair that is
happening in wells, at the bishops palace in early december and it
just would not do to turn up and not have anything to put on our little
table now would it......
