it's been a while since I made a bag,
so I thought it was about time to put that right.....
nothing fancy here, just simple drawstring bags,
but such a nice way to wrap a gift I think......
functional, re-useable and pretty.....
I really enjoyed the rhythmical making of
these this week and am looking forward to using them......
and in other news......
evie is a member of the junior section of the quilters' guild
and she spent the morning yesterday with her auntie dottie
{who is the lady in charge don't you know.....
look at her being all 'in charge' in the photo below.....}
and 7 other girls, making little purses.......
and they got to do a bit of block printing onto fabric.....
one of evie's favourite activities.....
she had a fun time even though she was
feeling a little under the weather.......
what's not to love about getting together with 7 other girls
and spending the morning stitching and printing.......
I can't think of many better ways to spend
a saturday morning myself.......
