well, no more 'pop-ins' were managed I'm afraid......
I was busy having WAY too much fun with the fam......
and shopping at some of my favourite places......
{had to boost the fabric stash you know.......}
we lazed, we shopped, we had a party......
we swam {well certain people swam..... I, however, observed,
dabbled my feet in the water and enjoyed the sunshine......},
we hung out, we drank coffee {and I realised that I do, infact,
like iced coffee when the temperature hits the mid 80's.....}
many games of pool were played, trampolining was enjoyed....
{though there was a bit of an accident involving evie and her elbow....
needless to say she is NEVER getting on a trampoline again.....}
lots of photographs were taken and a little knitting was accomplished.....
a friend {who now lives in southern california} asked if
I could make a few extra clothes for a little rabbit I had knitted
and gifted to her daughter a few years ago.....
actually, this is lucy when she was first made.....
so I decided to use some of our 'driving time' to knit up some extra 'little bits'......
{we completed around 3,000 miles of driving on our road trip for this
holiday.......and I got to sit back and relax for every single one of them......}
Lucy ended up with a new top {knitted the same as the dress but with the white
band omitted to make it shorter} and a pair of capri pants to match......
she also got a new jumper and skirt set {ooooo my......}
and I knitted a tiny little rabbit a few weeks ago
for her to have as her own soft toy.....

I have come home with a little list of 'extras' which mathilda would
like to add to lucy's trousseau, so my needles will continue to
clickety-clack for a while longer.....
{and I also cast on for a little manly vest......
because people are having babies in this part of the world you know.....}
