so here is the first attempt with my own version of Tone Finnegar's pattern....
I have used two layers (lining and outer) of felted blanket which makes them nice and thick
{and hopefully hardwearing, as I seem to be able to go through slippers with great ease}
thought blanket stiching the two layers together around the top quite apt.....
I have left a long piece of embroidery floss at the front where I finished the
blanket stitch as I am thinking about some sort of embellishment....
any suggestions.....
