it's becoming a bit like the weather channel.....

I don't spend too much time talking about the weather on this blog......

it has been mentioned a few times over the years.....

but considering that we are spending Christmas 'up north' this year 

AND it's giving us perfectly peachy Christmassy weather, 

I thought I would share some more 'postcard' pictures......

first, the view from the bedroom window......

the hill up to the next village was made impassible for most vehicles 

(including an oil tanker which got stuck and had to be towed out by a 

local farmer with a jolly big tractor!!).......

however, all that lovely packed snow made it a perfectly fabby sledging slope......

second, the view from the back window.....

don't the trees look just magical?.......

finally, my sister's front garden.....

Brian went out with Isaac for a little walk through the trees 

and said it was just like walking into Narnia.....
