my littlest one had a bit of an accident involving lots of
jumping, a trampoline and a left ankle......
it resulted in a visit to the ER, a few xrays, a temporary
{backslab} paster cast and a pair of cruches.....
unfortunately it wasn't quite as straightforward as we
first thought and so we had to return to the hospital
so that Evie could also receive her first hospital stay,
a general anasthetic, a full-on-heavy-as-a-lead-weight
plaster cast and a much straighter ankle......
fortunately she didn't receive any wires in her ankle
or any damage to the growth plate,
which were two things we didn't want
thank you very much.......
Squidger, the bear, got to accompany her
on her travels and was the first thing she asked
for when she came round from the anasthetic......
she got to 'test out' the new craft trolley supplies on
the children's ward........
watch a couple of movies.......
and eat ice cream, jelly and icy poles.....
a little bit of 'mamma made' found its way onto the hospital bed
to keep those toes nice and warm - well, a little bit of home
always makes you feel better don't you think.......
