oh, things are moving along here quite nicely at the 

little white cottage....

we have some boxes packed with books 

loitering about the place......

we have 'take it', 'sell it' and 'pass it on' piles of stuff

hanging around the place too.....

we have a girl who can now almost run on crutches

and has been told that her cast may be able to come

off a whole two weeks earlier than originally planned.....

{that brought a smile to her face}....

we've even had a dinner on the table every evening too

{well, not literally 'on the table', we do tend to us plates for

our meals...... most of the time anyway......}

so things are pretty 'fine and dandy'.....

however, 'things of a handcrafted variety' are not in

 quite such 'fine and dandy' spirits....

evie did bake a rather splendid cream filled victoria sponge cake....

now that was yummy...... and did hit a 'fine and dandy'

spot if I do say so myself.....

she's rigged up a little system for standing on a stool with her leg

propped up behind her on a chair, which means she can still help

with the cooking and do a little bit of baking too.......

I knew it wouldn't take her long to 'work it out' and get back

to what she loves........

{the astute among you will realise that this is not a photo

of the cream filled victoria sponge cake but rather

a plate of rather mouth watering anzac biscuits that

evie baked..... she's a keeper that's for sure....}

the trampoline which caused this caffuffal in the first place has

gone to its new home now.......

not because of the 'fractured ankle' incident,

but because evie wouldn't be able to play

on it again before we leave and isaac didn't want to play 

on it without his sister because 'that would make her sad'....... 

{what a lovely boy}

I am  hoping to break my craft-fast tomorrow however,

and make a couple of baby blankets,

for a friend who has recently had a gorgeous baby......

oooohhhh, lovely flannelly goodness to hold such

preciousness...... I love it......

and you never know, I may get round to doing a bit more packing.....

and a bit more sorting.....

and maybe even a bit of 'throwing out'........

but let's not get too carried away......
