I cannot begin to tell you how many hours I spent as

a child and teenager watching black and white

Saturday afternoon movies with my mum.....

this may seem a little sad to some, 

but I LOVED watching old movies and I remember 

 lots of movies which starred the actresses pictured above......

how nice to imagine them taking their knitting {and crochet}

along to pass the time between takes.....
