fun nights out..........

oh, I had a really fun night out on saturday.....

I got to spend a whole evening with creative ladies, doing creative

things & we got to eat yummy canapes too......

I was 'in charge' of organising a couple of easter/spring

themed crafts for the evening........

{I use the term 'in charge' very loosely you understand because

I find it hard to imagine myself 'in charge' of anything...... 

it sounds a bit too grown up for me - 

something older, more responsible people do}....

I wasn't the only one 'in charge', oh no, there were a number of

crafty women who had also 'taken charge' of some crafty activites &

on the night we had 8 different crafts that those who came along could choose from......

it's a fab idea really...... 140 ladies wishing to have an evening of crafting,

chatting, nibbling & sharing....... 8 different crafts to choose from.....

they got to choose 3 of those 8 crafts to complete & take home for themselves......

& then they spent 25 mins at each of their 3 chosen craft tables, where they were

served yummy canapes & got to chit chat with friends.......

& make some new ones.......

what's not to enjoy......

I watched as 60 women {over the course of the night} made felt birds &

eggs ......... & was amazed at how different & delightful each one was.....

{I didn't take my camera to the actual event, so you will just have to be

content with a shot of my sample birds & eggs on spring 'twigs'........}
