sunshiney-ness.....

 

the sunshiney-ness has been luring me outside

in recent days.....

you know those times when you have inside jobs

but you really NEED to sit outside because you don't

know how many more days the sunshiney-ness will last......

{if you are familiar with the UK you will understand what I mean.....

the weather here, even in summer, is never predictable.....

well, perhaps that isn't quite true..... summer is predictably cool & rainy....}

and so I try to take my jobs, whatever they may be, outside so I

can enjoy the sunshiney-ness while it lasts......

a little manly vest in debbie bliss merino wool was no

exception to this and accompanied me outside for morning tea

{along with a coffee and a banana muffin, courtesy of my boy}

to have its buttons sewn on.....

 

a job that has kept me inside however is the preparation of

200 brooches and keyrings for  special event happening this 

weekend......

I have had to be content to stand by an open window in 

the sunny room of the house to do this job.....

and, as I type, it looks like it's going to be another 

sunshiney day here in the asylum....

ah, deep joy....
