woolly yumminess......

just wanted to share with you my recent woolly purchases.....

this 100% alpaca 4 ply wool is just beautiful.....

soft and smooth and lovely to knit with......

it will be made into little clothes for little toys....

just perfect for little people to play with.....

i also bought six balls of this wool/alpaca mix with which to knit the little toys....... 

perhaps a little rabbit....... and maybe a little bear too......

it's a 65/35 mix and is a double knitting weight......

and this is a extra fine merino wool which is destined to

become a little cardigan {this time for a human being not a toy}.....

it can be machine washed and

in my book that's a good thing, as I don't know many

people who want to hand wash their childrens woolly jumpers.....

all of the above wool came from the wool warehouse and 

quite a few of their wools/yarns {especially the drops ones}

are on sale at the moment, but you need to be quick, I think

the special offers may be ending in the next day or so......

i also have to admit to having a moment of weakness in john lewis

the other day too - i impulsively bought some debbie bliss wool 

{this is also an extra fine merino wool}

with which i am knitting another pebble manly vest.....

i just love the pattern and the resulting vest is adoreable.....

just perfect for this cool spring weather we are having.....

and, as you can see from the above photo, i can knit,

read a map and take a photo all at the same time.....

amazing.....
