our house has been smelling so lush over the past couple of weeks.....
lots and lots of bottles of elderflower cordial have been made......
some have been frozen so that we can enjoy its delights long after the elderflowers have faded
{which has actually happened around these parts now}
and some of it was sold in aid of the
'evie-is-saving-up-for-a-trip-to-america-to-visit-her-cousins' fund.......
she bottled it up and then put lovely swing tags on the bottles......
she did a mighty fine job.......
and did actually manage to squirrel away a bit of cash towards her trip.....
and now the holidays have begun, so I have nearly 9 weeks
ahead of me to sew and read and potter and visit op shops
and go to france and celebrate birthdays and have lots of coffees
with my lovelies out in the sunshine.......
oh, I do love the summer hols......
especially the beginning when they are spread out ahead of you with all their potential.....
right, I'd better get back to the sewing machine.......
I am attempting to make a dress which will make my lovely
girl look like galadriel from the hobbit.....
hmmmmmm.......
I think she may need a wig to help her in her quest.......
I won't try making that though......
