oh my, now time really is running away with me and
it is very soon going to be time to get back to our normal daily routine......
Brian, to the teachery things he does at school.....
and me; well I shall resume my mooching around at home
imparting great wisdom into my childrens' lives......
{ahem}
this past week or so has included much swanning about the place.....
and I found a new love - namely the yorkshire dales.....
such a beautiful, beautiful place.....
I never really knew how much I loved
dry stone walls.....
or stone houses.....
or quaint high streets......
or the sound of bubbling rivers......
or crashing waterfalls......
and the yorkshire dales has these, with bells on......
I did do a little crafting whilst I was away......
in the form of a little crocheted mouse for my 2 year old niece.......
he is called tozzle {that's a two year old for you}
and he was being very loved up last time I saw him......
{and swung round by the tail at high speed...... yay.....}
I also knitted many rows of my practically cardigan during
our swanning and will soon have something to show for my
efforts....... I hope.......
I am so enjoying this summer of ours.....
the sun has had his hat on sooooo much this year
{in comparison to last year where we were just about to build
another ark and declare a state of emergency......}
and we have had some rather lovely trips around the place.....
it does mean that I haven't crafted nearly as much as I intended to,
but you know what, I have built some pretty splendid memories
with my precious peeps so there are no complaints from me......
we have just two weeks left of our swanning around and
I intend to enjoy every..... last..... moment.....
