Jack Frost has arrived....

burr.... it's been chilly these last few days here in Ballarat with a real feeling of winter in the air. I am amazed at how quickly the weather changes here.... just last week I was walking around with cropped trousers and a t-shirt on and this week it is thermals, a scarf and a beanie! (plus clothes, boots and a jacket.... otherwise I would still be pretty cold!)

Anyway, being that the weather is getting just a tad chilly I was so excited to put this lovely quilt on my son's bed

Dot pretty much made the whole thing while she was here as a gift for Isaac (I just stiched on the binding as she hadn't mananged to do that before her time came to leave our happy home). Evie has a quilt that Dot made for her a few years ago and Isaac had to just make do with stealing the lap quilts I had made for the sofa if he wanted something extra. But now he has his very own bed quilt, which has made him a very happy bunny.

It has been freezing. I was in the grampians all week - never been so cold- it is flannel P.J's weather for sure...
