I did really want a knitting needle case because it is that time of year when the evenings are dark and the woodburner is on and the bum is warming the sofa and, hey presto, the knitting comes out!
I looked at a number of knitting needle roll tutorials but decided that I liked this one best as it looked like I would be able to keep EVERYTHING in it......even though I only have about half a dozen pairs of needles at the moment..... (I gave the needles I did have away before we left England so I have just been picking up the sizes I need for specific projects from the op shops over the last few months).
Also, a couple of weeks ago I was having a little browse, as you do, in a local shop that does cut price stuff and saw a small pile of bolts of fabric..... not being one to just walk by, I took a closer look. I was drawn to two of the fabrics and, as they were only $1.99m thought I couldn't go wrong and bought a metre of each.
So there we are, a project and fabric on hand that I could use for it ........ Dot would be proud!

Beautiful fabric, certainly am very proud of you. I love the case, it's a storage thing, think I may need therapy for it!
