Fundraising.....

Isaac's grade 4 class is busy coming up with ways to raise money to help a school in East Timor build a permanent building for their kindergarden class. At the moment they have a temporary tin roofed structure which is far from ideal for the little people who go there.

They have come up with a plan to run a Christmas sale during their lunch breaks on two days this week and have asked people to bring in any saleable goods which can be purchased by students and staff and given as Christmas gifts to their families. They have also come up with a few nifty games and competitions to raise a bit of dosh too.

Earlier on this year Evie was busy making hama bead creations with the intention of selling them to raise some money and so she decided that she would donate all the Christmas charms, coasters and 'what-nots' she has made thus far to Isaac's stall so that he can sell them to raise money!

Together they have made smiley Santa's

Let's hope they raise loads of lollie so they can help towards getting some little people a nicer place in which to gather.....
