It is so delightful and filled with lovely projects just up Evie's street and aimed directly at her skill level (and a little beyond so it will last her for a while!)
Today she asked if we could craft together and of course I said yes, who wouldn't want the company of such an adoreable and chatty crafting companion?
She had a good look through the book and decided to make the doll (which comes with a sleepy face on one side and an awake face on the other AND there are patterns for clothes and a nightie too). I fished out a bit of calico for her to make the body and legs from and then set her up tracing and cutting out the pattern and then cutting the pattern pieces out of calico. She did a fine job of that and here she is hand sewing around the body.
She also wanted to add her own little touch by making a small red felt heart, stuffing it with a little hobbyfill and placing it inside the dolls body so that she would be a living doll...... beautiful....
