I love the hols......
it helps that Brian is a teacher and he gets to be
at home with us during the holidays
thus adding to the fun and frivolity of our time together.....
so my aim is to spend as much time as I possibly can indoors
{because of the coldness of the outdoors}
and to enjoy 'morning-to-night' craftiness......
on my pins this weekend was the honey cowl.....
I mentioned wanting to make one here and so,
having had a little trip to Spotlight,

wool was on sale this weekend,
I cast on and started the pins clacking.......

today I am sporting a rather nifty cowl which is keeping my neck nice
and toasty on this blustery day......
I thought that I would use my tall skinny model to show it off.......
taking photos of oneself is always such a trying business.....
the wool is lovely and soft......
a little chunkier than the yarn recommended,

I did the short version this time

I will be looking out for some thinner wool and will probably have
a go at knitting up the long version too.....
now to do a bit of serious 'sitting-around-doing-nothing'.....
