on my pins.......

i know, i know,

my little space here has been sadly lacking on the

'creative' front lately.......

however i saw a knitting pattern recently for

a vest which i thought would be splendiferous

for me and so, without a second thought, i ripped out a

 vest that had been sitting, three quarters finished, on my needles

 for three years and I cast on for the

top-down-tee......

i'm enjoying picking this up in the evenings

and during our car rides 

(when i'm not the driver you understand)

and even though it is not growing at a 

tremendous rate, it is soothing and

enjoyable........

however a baby has recently arrived into my life 

(not 'my life' in the very literal sense, but 'my life'

 in the 'close-friends-have-had-a-baby' sense)

and so i shall be casting on or whipping up something

special for him shortly, and my vest may have to just

wait a little longer.......

mind you, having been on the needles for three years

already, this yarn knows what it is to wait......
