snow day........

this was the view that greeted me as I looked

out of the kitchen door this morning......

a deck covered in white snowy goodness.....

it took all of 30 seconds for evie to put her coat

and shoes on and then she was outside enjoying it.....

with pleads of 'can we have a snow day mama?' coming

out of her little mouth.....

there was just enough snow on the deck for her

to make a little snowman and then she came

back inside, shivering and with another request......

could she have a big bowl of porridge for breakfast?.........

and it was definitely a porridge-y kind of morning, 

so that's exactly what she had........
