when you're handed snow.....

when outside your back door looks like this......

{complete with Christmas tree still lingering about the place.....}

and the view across the courtyard is akin to this.......

{rather narnia-ish don't you think.......?}

then you just have to make some of this.......

{well, in our house, when you have an evie, you do......}

it's snow ice cream and it's easy peasy to make......

you need:

4 cups of fresh, clean snow

1/2 cup of condensed milk

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence

mix it all together and it's ready to eat

{with a nice warm apple pie in our case,

but you could just as well eat it all on its own, 

or with sauce and sprinkles

or however else you like to partake of your ice cream......}

you can just use ordinary milk with sugar mixed in if you

don't have any condensed milk handy but I have to say

the condensed milk makes the ice cream rather yummy.......

so, when you're handed snow.....

make ice cream.....
