Evie was given a pillow for (I think) birthday number 3 which had been lovingly made by Auntie Dottie. It had all the elements she loved included on it ESPECIALLY a gorgeous cat taking centre stage.
Now Dottie is a little reluctant to draw faces onto things, so it was up to Evie to do the cat's facial features..... I think she did a pretty splendid job for a little-ly!
Well, I was changing Evie's bed the other day and took a good long look at the pillow and saw just how much love it had received and the effects were quite obvious!
Lots of thread bare spots, bits falling off and, I'm afraid to say, quite a tear down the back.....
5 years of someone resting their head and rubbing their face into it is going to do that to a pillow!
