this was a satisfying, rythmical project that I actually really enjoyed doing!
The really, easy ripple scarf/shawl turned out to be just what it said on the tin.... really quite easy.
I used yarn that was lovely and soft yet quite chunky, made it slightly narrower than it was meant to be in the original pattern (and about 20 inches longer!) and edged it with a double crochet then a single crochet border to 'finish it off'.
I lost track of my ripple pattern a couple of times (particularly when I was chit-chatting to some of the mums at the homeschoolers gym and swim session) but that was easily remidied (eg. pulled out and re-stitched!)
I love crochet for its easiness to pull-out and re-do rows in a jiffy..... unlike knitting when you have a hundred stitches to pick up after having to rip out a few rows..... oh, how I hate picking up stitches!
Anyway, it is finished and waiting for some cooler weather (it's gone all warm here again so I won't be using in for the next day or two......)
