The week that was......

During the past week I have been busy making headband/armbands and beanbags for our childrens church group to use when they play games.

Very boring stuff really.... lots of straight seams and turning, turning, TURNING of tubes to make the headbands.

So really not much to show for my time......

HOWEVER, I have had a little side project on the go to do while I watch a movie or just sit with my lovely man in the evenings.....


It's a wrap for the coming cool weather that I can just pull around my shoulders in the evening or throw around me when I quickly dash out....

The pattern is a freebie from Lion Brand Yarns website. Aptly named the 'very easy ripple shawl' I thought it would be just right for me!

I'm enjoying the rhythm to the pattern and the fact that I can just keep going without referring to written instructions. Not to mention the fact that it is doing a great job of keeping my lap warm whilst I work......
