What a fabbo nine years I've had being her mama....
She is funny, creative, caring, generous, loving..... oh I could go on but you get the idea..... an all round bee-you-ti-ful daughter.
This year the request was for a Buzz Lightyear cake and, if you remember, I said last year that themed birthday cakes were not my forte! But Evie had her heart set on Buzz and so Buzz it had to be (she had considered Ron Weasly from Harry Potter but Buzz had pipped him at the post!)
So here are my efforts....... DON'T LAUGH..... I'll hear you if you do!
Step one - print out a picture of Buzz striking a rather manly pose and draw my own version onto white icing....
Next, paint on some rather 'vibrant' food colours to give him a little 'pizzaz'.....
And finally, stick him atop a blue cake......
I have to admit that blue icing on a cake is almost as bad as black icing.... maybe one day I'll be asked for a cake that doesn't cause your mouth to turn lurid shades after consumption.....
