Whilst I was away and having a little chit chat to her one evening, thanks to McDonald's free wifi, Skype and my iPod touch (fantastic little gadget that it is) she asked me if I had opened out the fabric....
Truth be told, I hadn't..... I had popped it onto the craft table ready to enjoy when I returned from my holiday.....
Turns out it is a panel of fabric, not a piece as I had first thought and it is SO SCRUMMY and GORGEOUS that I now have a fear that I won't be able to cut into it to make something!
Oh the dilemma.....
I'm quite rubbish at cutting into beautiful fabric anyway...... this takes it to a whole other level!
* we had a super, duper hols up in Queensland, where the weather was warm and the activities were bonkers! I am so past it as far as theme park thrill rides are concerned..... unfortunately my children aren't and Evie is a 'try it all' girl with no fear!
MY fave day was cruising to Moreton Island, watching the wild dolphins and turtles swim in the crystal clear turquoise water, relaxing on a white sandy beach, having a dip in the much-warmer-than-down-here ocean, snorkelling around the Tangalooma Wrecks and handfeeding the tropical fish......
...that's more like it I say!
I didn't do ANYTHING remotely creative whilst I was away either..... I was too exhausted from all the thrill rides I had to go on and went to bed at 8.30pm every evening!
Back to normality now though......

Stretch it over a canvas perhaps ?? the you can look at it all the time.
I agree with Jodie, it needs to stay in one piece somehow :) You could always put a border on and QUILT it...!
By the way, I tagged you if you want to join in.... feel free :)

Ooh, I agree too - it's waaay too lovely to cut into pieces. I just adore anything with birds on it - this fabric is really special!
