Waste not, want not.......

I'm a bit of a 'use-every-last-bit-of-it' girl.....

I love to squeeeeeeeze every last drop of goodness out of my fabric.....

I have a box full of tiny little scraps that 'just might' come in handy......

and so, when I was down to my last little bits of the panel I got at the crafty garage sale
{after making this with about 90% of it},
I thought to myself, 'now what can I do with the scraps?'......

and so my little brain went into gear
{which took a while mind you..... it spends most of its time in neutral....}
and I decided that a little pouch/bag/receptacle of some description was needed
for all those little bits that make their way to the 'depths' of my bag.....
sometimes never to be found again.....

and so, ta dah .......
here is my 'bag-to-keep-little-bits-in'.....

using virtually EVERY LAST bit of the fabric panel......
the last cloud.....
the last little bit of the picture
{I couldn't abandon that bunny to a life squished into my scrap box now could I......}
even the selvedge found a little place - seriously.....
selvedge with little houses on, couldn't put that in the bin......

boxy corners.....
I'm enjoying boxy corners at the moment......

I put an extra piece of lining in with a button and elastic to make a separate little section for.....
well, whatever you like really.....

and made a little tag out of a piece of the selvedge.....

I truly feel that I squeeeeeezed as much out of this piece of fabric as possible and I'm happy.......
and I can hear the little bits and bobs that frequent the inside of my bag shouting with glee
that they have a safe little home to call their own.....

Oh you do put me to shame, Deborah! I haven't done anything with any of my garage sale goodies yet - but I will, I will!
