my lovely granny stripe has been a work in progress for a few months now.....
you've seen the 'buying of the wool'......
you've seen the 'start'.......
you've been treated to some 'durings'.......
and 'progressings'.......
I even spouted on when I couldn't get any more wool from Spotlight
and it had to be put down for a few weeks.......
well now we have come to 'the end'.......
a proper end, as opposed to a 'blog finished' end.......
which means all the loose ends have been woven in and it is
rootinly-tootinly all-in-its-full-glory finished.......
**SIGH**
I ended up with 63 stripes.....
no rhyme or reason, just stopped when I felt I should stop......
I did a really simple edge......
tried a couple of variations but pulled them out again and settled on less being more.......
Evie even wanted to get in on the action and has begun crocheting a scarf
for our forthcoming jaunt 'up north'......
look at that little finger tension action......
a natural if ever I saw one......

oh wow this is gorgeous! I have just bought some wool to make my own stripey loveliness - only problem is I am having trouble understanding the instructions from Attic 24. have you any other photos of your work??
wow this has motivated me to sort myself out and get going despite the warmer weather!
That's so beautiful!!! I love it and the colours are gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing the link with me,
