so with all the scraps flying around at the moment I was trying to think of other ways
I could use some of them up and I happened to glance at my rather tired {to put it nicely} coasters......
'ah ha' I thought, 'I could make some stripey new coasters out of
some of those scrappy bits of left overs'.....
and so, this afternoon I grabbed a few of the long thin scrappy pieces
I had already cut out, sewed a few together, gathered some scraps of linen
{I have to say that all my linen is scraps really.....
being old pieces of clothing picked up at op shops over the years},
and set to work with a smile on my face and a song in my heart........ tra-la-la
didn't take but a few moments to end up with some rather
spiffy new mats to set my coffee cups upon....
would be far nicer if the cups were actually full of coffee......
let's go and put that right straight away shall we......

Oh I just love your coasters and they go well with those coffee cups. :)
