last year my sister sent some lovely fabric to Evie and I.....
Evie wanted a new cushion cover to take the place of the very special one
that Auntie Dottie had made for her 3rd birthday,
but which was showing a great many signs of wear and tear,
and she decided that this would be the perfect fabric to
make a replacement cushion cover from.....
it didn't happen quickly {not much does in our house}
but last night I was able to put the finished cushion on her bed
and she woke up to it this morning......
I was greeted with sing-song shouts of 'oh mummy, I love it..... it's perfect'.....
what a precious thing she is......

and giving it a little stroke, because she likes it
and has asked Evie if she can sleep on it tonight at bedtime......
without a doubt, that is where she'll be......
