did quiet crafty stuff.....
evie decided to crochet a sleeveless vest for monkey..... he is waiting patiently..... and he doesn't mind AT ALL that the vest will be pink.....
I did a little bit of embroidery for a project which will eventually go to the preemie baby unit at our local hospital.....
about a million years ago {yes I am that old} I bought quite a LOT of DMC embroidery threads on a visit to the USA and decided to do a little bit of cross-stich..... I quickly tired of the cross-stitch and as a result these threads have seen very little use....... and this is only half of the threads I have..... yikes.....
they are making an appearance again now though...... and I am realising that even the simple backstitch is a craft that I am sadly lacking any measure of ability in.....
and just to keep me occupied with more than one job at a time, I started cutting up old jumpers which I had purchased from the op shops last year or maybe even the year before} and had then felted using the hot wash cycle in my washing machine......
I have a desire to play with squares......
ah yes, a nice quiet craft day in the house.....

Oh what a fun day. I'm having a great day today; it's 3 o'clock and I'm still in my PJs!
Me too - I have a lot of DMC floss on little spools similar to yours and lined up in plastic containers. I use them off & on and they come in handy having a stash, and when I purchased them some time ago they were less expensive too.
I also have a wool stash that I am working on felting and organizing and will be using them in various crafting ways once I get to that point. I love fiber and find it a very soothing thing whether it's being used in a project or something I can look at and feel in between uses.
