Lounge Pants......

True to form, there is no way I could hold off doing another project until my jumper (which has been a WIP for over a year now) was finished.....

I cut, sewed and washed these lounge pants (pattern from the Betz White book Sewing Green) yesterday and then bought a little bit of pretty stuff to embelish the ankle cuff with.

In her book, Betz has a cuff made from a contrasting fabric for the bottom of the leg but I just lengthened the pattern by a couple of inches and stitched on the little flowers instead.

I made the large size but had to take them in by a few inches (via the side seams) as they were just a bit TOO baggy for my liking.

No photos of them in situ...... one of my talents is not modelling!!




I'm really happy with them and look forward to much 'lounging' in the coming months.......
