Oh what a beautiful morning....... (well, weekend actually!)

We've just had a lovely weekend...... the sun was shining it's little heart out and Brian and I have had morning coffee sitting in the garden doing crafty bits....... well, I do the crafty bits, Brian just sits and listens to me natter on..... he's good like that!

Betty and I have begun having outings again together now that the weather is on the 'up', which is such fun.

In the space of the taking a turn with her 'around the block' I can visit no less than four op shops - FOUR! Oh my, it's such a joyous hour when Betty and I go out together. Our only limit is how much stuff we can carry back!

We've had three or four such outings in the past week and Friday morning saw our latest jaunt.

I picked up ANOTHER vintage bed sheet (I'm starting to feel inspired to do a blue and white vintage bed linen quilt.......)

and an apron - which looks a bit dodgy but I like the way it was made and thought I could do something with it - potential is what I like to call it!

I was looking for a tea pot, but nothing took my fancy so Betty and I shall continue taking our 'turns' around the block over the coming weeks to see what we come up with.

I also had a little play with some felt and buttons making big, felty, brooches..... these are my prototypes but I'm liking the idea.....

Well, the holidays have come to an end and tomorrow the table I turn into MY crafty space during the holidays will become the kids school table again...... but oh, I have had a fun three weeks......
