a slow week and another piece of neckwear......

I haven't really done a lot of crafting
over the past week......

it's all gone a 'bit slow' around here.....

a few more hexies have been added to my blanket.....

a new edge added to my Granny Stripe blanket........
(after 10 months I decided that the plain edge
was not enough after all and I added a little
scallop edge detail instead......)

but nothing 'new and exciting' has
passed by this way.......

except.......

I have a bit of 'a thing' for neckwear at the moment......

you can't blame me.....

I no longer have my 'long locks' to keep
my neck warm
and it's quite chilly in these here parts
(though the sunshine is rather beautiful and
lovely to sit in with a hot cup of coffee in
the afternoons.....)

a few weeks ago Michelle
sent me a link to a tutorial for a lovely

oooohhhh, I likey that........

once you get into the rhythm with this one, it grows quite quickly......

except when you realise you have made a mistake
about 10 motifs ago and you have to rip it back
(it wasn't just a little 'no one will notice mistake' either.......
it was a WHOPPER of a mistake so ripping back
had to be done, even though it pained me a great
deal to do it......)

anyway, this is what's keeping my hands
busy at the moment......
what about you?.......

ooooohhhhhh, and I just have to tell you that
yesterday I saw the teeniest, tiniest baby
you ever did set your eyes on and
she was wearing my littlest
gosh, she did look very cute too......
perfectly scrumptious......

Oh my goodness! This is one of the prettiest scarf designs I have seen in a while. I must try it out!
