We found a jar of dry gingerbread mix way at the back in the pantry cupboard which was left over from Christmas(!!) and being one not to waste anything, and having a very willing companion on hand, thought we might as well crack it open and give it a go!
Don't they look happy all piled up there on the plate..... a picture of happiness no less......
Chipper in fact.......
But sad to say, with something so yummy still warm from the oven....
he wasn't destined......
to stay chipper.......
for very long......

So cute!! They are the best gingerbread men I have ever seen!
but he kept up a brave face right to the very end...
