You see, she is VERY EXCITED about the baby which is about to be born up north... she talks about her every day and asks 'how long now' at least once a day too.... 'ummmm, well, any day now I guess sweetie' is my standard answer - what else can you say when talking about babies and arrival dates - it's certainly not an exact science!
And so, she sewed.......
Look at her, all grown up using my machine as if she was born for it!
And here she is putting her embroiderers guild training to good use.....
.... finishing off a project that was entirely her own choice and which is being sent with so much skippety-jumpy excitement that I'm sure it will still be bouncing when it arrives.....
and sent with more love than any parcel could possibly contain.....
