Ok, this is my hot tip of the day......
When you are wanting to 'just really quickly' cut some fabric because you thought of an idea for a bag to cart all your stuff along to the Sew it Together gathering on Saturday but you don't have a ton of time and you decide to start work on it while you're trying to explain to the youngest peep how to work out how many hours are in 240 minutes and the older one is asking some interesting questions about how to plot a graph and their stuff is strewn all over the table but you think you can just squeeze into a corner and 'get it done in a jiffy'......
think again.....
those rotary cutters are lethal..... took the top clean off my finger!
I managed not to get any blood on the fabric I was trying to cut but was hampered a little by my best nurse-y type dressing!!
So, my top tip would be.....
keep your finger tips ON the ruler, not hanging over the edge of it.......
