Rhubarb.....

Got hold of some rhubarb today which is the first time we have had any in...... well, forever....


Evie and Isaac wanted to make rhubarb and apple crumble for dessert so they prepared the fruit and I did the topping..... yum.


Unfortunately we ate it so quickly that I didn't get a picture of the finished crumble, but you can be sure that it was delicious (with lashings of cream for some and scoops of ice cream for others - and a bit of both for a particular man in the house!), and it brought back happy memories of childhood.
