Schools..... love 'em, well I love the facilities they have anyway! Dot and I went over to the school art department this morning and spent a happy hour (no alcohol involved!) in the printing room. I had been having a chat with the art teacher who specialises in printing and she invited us over to see what resources the school had that we could experiment with. Well, what joy!! There was lino to carve for block printing, there were screens to use for screen printing.... so guess what we will be doing next week......? Armed with all our op shop linen and other bits and bobs of fabric we are going to do some printing..... I'll post about the results when they happen..!!
