Embelishments...

when Dot and I went to the Stitches and Craft show in Melbourne they had a number of little 'craft for yourself' areas which were free to try. They had embroidery, knitting and one stop had fabric projects. Dot and I felt we needed to avail ourselves of this free crafting opportunity and we plonked our bums down at the fabric project bar and made a couple of little treasures to bring home. I made a pincushion out of white linen and a Liberty print and Dot made a broch/button flower thingy (great use of adjectives there!!) Well I decided that to finish off my waisty pinny I would make the same thing in the fabrics I used on the front to embelish the reverse side (the piece I had screen printed). Here is what I ended up with.....
