a few weeks ago I made a felted jumper blanket from three jumpers I had picked up in the op shop and felted in the washing machine {with a few little cream squares thrown in for good luck}...... I have to say it's lovely and cosy and I am enjoying having in on the sofa {and quite frequently over my knees} during the cold weather we are having 'down south'.........
but I saw another idea for cut up felted blankets/sweaters here and thought, 'ooooohhh, now I need to look out for some colourful jumpers when I am in the op shops'......

my weekend was partly taken up with crocheting another pair of wristwarmers...... this time for the boy...... and this time in grey...... a little bit bleh, but his choice so I am going with it....... any request for handmade from my boy is a pleasure to be getting on with as requests are quite rare....
I also spent some time crocheting more roses...... which are a quick little project, perfect for wintery evenings snuggled on the sofa under my cosy blanket..... {making sure I have the BIG lights on so that I can see what I am doing...... }
